In Indoor mode, place the device at least 5 ft (approx. 3 m) away from people and animals.
In Outdoor mode, place the product at least 10–15 ft (approx. 3–4 m) away from areas of human activity to avoid attracting mosquitoes into occupied or resting areas.
Do not place the Mosqitter® Mini directly on the floor, ground, grass, or other low surfaces – this reduces attraction efficiency (see Fig. 3).
For optimal performance, position the device at an elevation of 1.5 to 5 feet (approx. 0.5–1.5 m) above ground level, in an open space, free of obstructions. The device should be within direct line of sight to effectively attract insects (see Fig. 1).
Ensure the Mosqitter® Mini is placed on a stable surface or securely hanging as instructed.
Position the device so that nothing blocks it from the sides or above – this ensures unobstructed release of heat, light, and (if used) scent attractant, all essential for effective mosquito attraction.
Follow the instructions for replacing the insect collection net (see Fig. 5) to prevent the container from becoming overfilled. Irregular cleaning may reduce the device’s effectiveness.
