Troubleshooting

PROBLEM POSSIBLE REASON SOLUTION
The device does not turn on • Not connected to the power supply
• Lower base (container) not installed correctly
• Damaged power cable
• Check the power outlet connection and ensure the power supply is functioning properly.
• Make sure the container is securely attached and the lock button has clicked into place.

The light is working, but the motor does not start. • Lower base is not locked in place or the motor is malfunctioning • Reinstall the lower base, check the safety system. If issue persists, contact customer support: support@mosqitter.com
Weak suction • The replacement trapping net is full or clogged
• Internal components are dirty
• Replace the trapping net.
• Clean the fan and device housing with a brush.
Mosquito catch is low • The device is placed too low or in an unsuitable location
• Too close to other light sources
• Attractant not in use (outdoor mode)
• Place it at a height of 1.5 to 5 feet (approx. 0.5–1.5 m) in an open area free of obstruction.
• Move the device away from lamps, windows, or other light sources.
• Install the Mosqilure by Mosqitter® attractant to enhance effectiveness.
Unusual noise during operation • Foreign object in the fan • Turn off the device and carefully clean the fan. If issue persists, contact customer support: support@mosqitter.com
The device is operating, but there are more mosquitoes. • Use during a critical period (peak season, high mosquito population) • Keep the device running continuously for 2–3 weeks to achieve results, or install an additional unit to reduce the mosquito population in other areas of the yard.
